You have to think of it this way. A dog has hearing that is 10 times better than ours. Sure, they get used to having a bell or two tags (I'm not suggesting taking the id tag off, just don't have two on), but how would you like to have a large bell hanging around your neck all the time? This is what is good and fair for the dog and we have to be good stewards with our animals and think what their sensitive hearing will have to tolerate. I'm not trying to be mean, but I know I wouldn't like having a bell around my neck 24/7. I'm sure Cesar would say the same thing, you have to do what is good for your little furface.
