Maddie just got spayed last week. I was just as nervous as you are! I know what you mean by the hurting when laying down and standing up thing. Maddie just stood really awkwardly and looked at me like "Please make me not hurt!" It was so sad (I acutally cried). I just sat on the floor with her favorite blankee and let her get comfortable and then let her just lay there without touching or talking to her. The next day was a little better, and by the third day, it would just hurt if I would accidently touch it when picking her up. I know it is so hard to watch her in pain, but just give it a couple days and as long ans she is eating or drinking she should be just fine! Good luck! I know EXACTLY how you feel! |
