Sounds like the food to me. My dogs didnt tolerate Innova very well either. We are currently using Merricks. Honestly, I wouldnt willinly feed my pets anything that had the "fish stuff" in it and personally I would stay away from any pet food product made by Diamond foods for that reason. There are several different premuim brands out there. There is a link at the top of this section with emails to many of them, some of them offer free samples. Good luck..
