My daughter lives in Albuerqerque and I just got back from visiting her. All the houses in her neighborhood had gorgeous green grassy front lawns. Granted they very small lawns and had sprinkler systems to keep them green. I took early morning walks and all the sprinklers were on. About a mile from her home was a beautiful park with green grass. There's grass in New Mexico you just have to work at it to keep it. Hopefully you'll be able to find a place that has the grass.
