If the urine sample was taken/forced at the vets, it shouldn't be considered accurate as the dog would be under stress at the vet, and therefore, there would naturally be cortisol excess in the urine, giving a false reading.
For an accurate Cortisol-Creatinine Ratio Urine Test, the urine needs to be caught
at home when the dog is relaxed, preferably in the morning....by sucking the urine up into a clean syringe (like, off of a tile floor) - that would be most accurate. Just fyi.
Agree - should be checked for Diabetes Insipidius too, definitely!
