I use a really small toothbrush for Belle but she really fights when I try to do the top side teeth. I have bought her several toys that have nubs on them and she chews on them and gets the side teeth really good. she also chews on those string toys that have almost like a dental floss feel, they clean really well between teeth. Just some ideas, I know how they can struggle when they don't want to have anything done to them.
