Some children don't have it as good as our dogs. That is sad but true. Working for the school system, I see children who are neglected. Not abused, but not taken care of the way I took care of my children. Not even as well as I take care of my dogs.
This is so very true! I have five children. Three of them we adopted from the school I worked at for fourteen years. They were severely abused & neglected for many years. When I brought them home, they thought we lived in a kingdom. Our two boys could not understand why the
small things in life made them so happy. They now have a real family with lots of love. I try very hard to make all their dreams come true. It hasn't been easy, but it sure has made our family very strong. Our Furbabies had more toys then our new children have ever thought of having. There isn't anything I wouldn't do for them. Yes I would say they have it made. But so do our children, my little girl came up to me and laid a big hug & kiss on me. She thanked me for giving her a bright shiny future. Yes I cried. Along with giving my furbabies the very best, all my children have it the same way.
