I am due with our first baby January 7th. The only thing different in our house as of right now is baby clothes. But I swear Gretzky knows something is going on! Is is so attached to me!! I cannot do anything without him at my feet. He has turned into this whiney, constantly barking, and just very very needy dog! This is so out of character for him. We have not changed anything in the way we treat him or how much attention he gets, trust me he is the center of our universe. But for some reason its like he senses that life is about to change.
Has anyone ever had this happen with there furbaby? And/Or does anyone have any advice they think might work? It just breaks my heart to think that he will feel left out when the baby comes home. And even now that he obviously is destressed over this.
I really hope this doesn't get worse once the baby is here.....
