Awww, poor baby. He probably just needs some good lovin's for a while to forget that awful place. Hot Rod never really had a problem with the vet but just a couple of months ago at one of his visits, I can't remember what happened, but something upset him and now he doesn't even want to stand on the stainless steel table!
I literally have to wrap my arms around him and sorta lay with him for him to settle down.
Even after his lp surgery he wasn't afraid the "vet's office". Give him some time, I'm sure it will get better.
