I posted a few weeks ago about how Toby had hurt his back leg.
It doesnt bother him all the time, sometimes he will hold it up, but it seemed to be worse after he got up from a sleep. He wasnt crying in pain with it, maybe only about 4 times in 2 weeks.
After about a week it seemed to be getting better, then last week it seemed to get worse again.
I took him to the vet today.
She said he is in pain with it. He wouldnt let her extend it backwards, which makes her think it is around his hip. She recommended X-raying it tomorrow morning, rather than just giving him pain meds.
I hope it is nothing serious. It happened when I was lifting him out of his bed, I didnt see anything happen, but he squealed in pain. I am hoping it is just an injury rather than a disease or degenerative condition.
I just found out today that I can get Maisie in 2 weeks, and we are supposed to be going to Disney Paris on Sunday. Not sure if I can afford those and surgery. Hopefully it doesnt come to that.
