Hummmm, my suggestion would be to send the fancy slow feed bowl back and go in your back yard and find a nice round stone that will fit nicely in the old food bowl. Wash and dry the stone. When you feed, simply place the kibble in the bowl and put the stone on top -- they will have to scootch the stone around with their nose to get to the kibble underneath.

We have had excellent success using this method with our Boxer and with our horses. Good Luck!
