I have the Rascal dog litter box, and love it! I live in Iowa and you just dont know what the weather will be. The box is great, has side that help contain them, I get to wash the grass when needed and I use newspaper on the bottom that cost me nothing. I got the extra grass to switch out when I wash the dirty one. I can not say enought great things about it, I LOVE IT!!
Just so that you know, I also take my yorkie outside too. It can work both way!
