All five of mine are Microchipped, with no problems at all. The first one was chipped 8 yrs ago. With all the Yorkie thefts, and the little ones getting out sometimes, I can't think of a better way to prove ownership should something ever happen. There was an article in my local paper a few months back about a Yorkie getting picked up by the Humane Society after he dug a hole under the backyard fence, and three people showed up to claim ownership. Thank goodness the real owner had him chipped!
