The warmed bed is a good idea and I know this is an old idea but it works. If you buy a cheap little clock that ticks and wrap it in a towel they really settle down. We did this and it does work. Also if you put warm water in a hot water bottle and wrap it up in a towel they like the warmth like being with their mother.
