I have really enjoyed reading this thread because I have gotten to the point that I print stuff off the computer like "accidents with doors and yorkies" and what ffodas are bad for dogs is posted on my refrigerator and the reasons it's bad for them.
My 13 year old daughter had a neighbor friend over the other day and I had some easter egg candies in a dish. I found out later when I caugh Hefner eating something that they had thrown the candies at each other and not picked it up. A small amount of chocolate can kill a small dog. I was looking up how to induce vomiting when I realized it wasn't a chocolate candy, but he still ate candy!!
I left Hefner just for an hour to run a quick errand and my son slammed his paw in the door. Luckily he wasn't seriously hurt, but I don't know how to get them to understand. I told my husband he should look at it like there's a toddler in the house and he just said then someone needs to be supervising him at all times.
I have a front pack carrier I carry him now when my husband is doing fix it work around the house on the weekends because he just eavesdoors open all the time!!
