I will try to make this short. My Maddie is (or was) going through her first heat. I DO NOT want her having pups right now. I have been super careful with keeping her and Monkey (my male) apart. She has always had her "lady suit" on (panties) if I am home and if I leave, I make sure to lock Monkey (my male) in his crate. Well...I was called to a VERY important audition for a show and I was super nervous all day, practicing, etc. When I left my home, I put Monkey in his crate as usual and left my girl out. When I returned, they were both just frolicking all over the place like they owned it...I FREAKED OUT! I must have not locked the crate properly! They had been at home for
5 HOURS!!!! I don't know what went on!!! I don't know if I'm being paranoid, but everything she does now makes me think she could be pregnant
. This is not something I want. I know how dangerous it is for her to be "prego" at this early point. I want to know how soon she would show "symptoms" and if she is "prego", can I abort?? What do I do?? I don't want to lose my girl!! She is still a baby (9.5 months).
