I'm not sure I have any advice because the kind of candy is unknown. Obviously if it was dark chocolate or something that contains xylitol, there may be problems; otherwise it should be fine. Inducing vomiting if you are really unsure may be an option, but it could be hard on a 4 pound dog and is most likely unnecessary.
