I don't normally write poems, but for some reason I decided to write this, so I'd like to share it with my YT family.

I call it "My JoJo"

In small packages the best things come
And when i first looked at him my heart he had won

An itty bitty furball of black and tan
This little guy's got me rethinking my plan

Before, i'd come home and on the couch I would plop
Now I must entertain him and take him potty nonstop!

What's that I see? In my carpet a hole?
Someone's been naughty, my patience is taking a toll

In the other corner, i spot my chewed up shoes
He better be glad those aren't my Jimmy Choos!

A few months pass and the chewing is no longer
My, how he's changed between now and when younger

He entered my life one short year ago
He's always been attached to me, my little shadow

He knows when i'm leaving and bites at my toes
Until i finally give in and with me he goes

He knows when I'm happy and knows when I'm sad
The way he cocks his head to the side, it's like he understands

He loves many things, but tissues top the list
Nothing can stop him, this tissue bandit just can't resist!

Throughout my home it's like a treat haven
'Cause he's a little horder and hides them for savin'

The leash is in my hand, look...he's going nuts!
He knows it's that time for us to do our struts

Outside he can't contain himself, that squirrel he must chase!
To know he's having fun, just look at that face!

Back inside the water's running and it's his bathtime
But it's not easy to rid my boy of his grime

He shivers and shakes, and whimpers and cries
why must he look at me with those sad little eyes?

Time for my dinner, i need to get me some grub
But that'll have to wait, he wants a belly rub

It's bedtime for us now and his favorite spot he knows
Right beside me on the bed is where he always goes

I think of my life as it was not long ago
But now i can't imagine living without my JoJo.
