i know this sounds crazy but i put my alex bag in the washing machine!!! with the pad and all... and it turned out great!!! one of my little stickers had peed on it and i couldnt get the smell out with just wiping it and it was driving me crazy!!!... i figured i couldnt use the bag with the smell so i had nothing to lose if the washing machine ruined the bag lol...i put in the wash with all the dogs blankets so it would have some cushion in the wash and it came out looking like new!!! i didnt put it in the dryer of course, just hung it to dry.
Now i dont recommend you doing this if u can get the mess cleaned up with a wipe, but in the future if the ever gets really messy, try it...
