So glad this was brought up. On our nice days I take Bella for a walk at a 1/2 mile at a time. She's 17 months old. I am a power walker and I let her set the pace. But like some of you, I wasn't sure how far to go before it would be to hard on her physically. Now I know I can go 2 to 3 miles.
