Did you see the episode when they went to get the puppies? Kate picked out which dogs SHE wanted even though she said she didn't like dogs...

I do think Jon wanted the dogs but we all know there are a number of things Jon wanted but didn't get..I'm bad...I just think Kate thought it fit into the image thing.
