Sweetie absolutely loves snow - she will run (with me close behind at the end of her leash) and as the snow makes little balls and roll out in front of her she chases them!! But getting snow out of a yorkie's fur is horrible!!
I have to get the hair dryer out and literally melt it out of her fur. I bundle her up in her PJ's and a coat - I live in the mountains of western NC & we get some below 0 degree weather - not often - but Sweetie is trained to go outside... no matter the weather..... I really love it, too, when she just has to go out in the middle of a thunderstorm!!! But she hasn't had an accident in the house in years...
