Don't forget grain alcohol is the safe one, its not Isopropy alcohol or rubbing alcohol, which would be very dangerous. Not that grain alcohol is safe for dogs to drink, but the amount found in Petzlife is minuscule. You're correct, though, you do not want to use excessive amounts or brush the teeth with it, it's merely to coat the teeth.
