When we were crate training, I used to tap on the crate and tell her no no sternly when she would cry. It always made her settle down. I put her right by my bed too so that she was near me. Another trick you could try is use a can with pennies in it and everytime she gets all worked up in the crate, shake the can. A lot of dog trainers recommend that for stopping unwanted behavior. |
