Our little Kissy has always been a sturdy little dog. She was growing nice and stayed steady at 5lbs. About two weeks ago I noticed a little weight loss but didn't really think much of it. Earlier this week she was all skin and bones ... it's like she lost all her weight overnight. You can feel every single rib and even her hind leg bones. We took her in for a CBC earlier this week and my vet just told me there are some abnormalities in one of her kidney tests. He recommended that I stop feeding Kissy all the treats and to come back for another CBC in a week.
He tells me it's nothing to worry about and that he sees this stuff quite often and most of the times it turns out to be nothing. But she is sooo skinny now.... I'm so worried.
