yes for a week or few days stop the food and feed the boiled chicken and rice.
you can stop the pumpkin and instead add to the food a probiotic which will help fight the bacteria in the gut. i use Primadophilus Reuteri powder by nature's way from a wholefood store or vitamin shoppe (in the fridge section). you can add 1/8 teaspoon with every meal; it's best to feed 4 small meals daily; instead of 2 big ones; easier for the stomach. continue to use the probiotic indefinetely as it's really important for the gut's health.
currently i feed mine the honest kitchen dehydrated raw food (human grade food) and i add probiotics, digestive enzymes, and halo vitamins.
