Well our Mica was only 1 pound 6 ounces at 16 weeks and she's close to 5 pounds now. Based on the weight chart she would have been much smaller. I don't think those charts are totally accurate all of the time. Mica was 3 pounds at six months so I'm thinking your baby will end up being between 5 and 7 lbs like the parents. The vets dont' always know because our vet thought Mica would only be 3 pounds full grown and then she had a growth spurt between six months and 14 months.
I agree, it's confusing when it comes to clearly predicting weight.
