I do both......if someone is looking for a dog in Texas or California, I know where to send them. I know breeders all over the country. So, I don't think reputable breeders are being overlooked, at least by me. Remember some regional clubs are not as stringent with screening their members as the mother club, you need to check into the by-laws.
In addition the YTCA has a breeder referral person that one can contact, that person knows where to send people.
