I don't know if she was holding it or just didn't realize she had to go? She's pretty much housebroken, but if I, occasionally sleep beyond 6:30 a.m., she doesn't seem to mind going on the kitchen floor...I have a pee pad out for her, but she never was good at the pee pads...She does really well going outside on a schedule..(if it's not pouring down rain for 24 hrs.!)
I believe the vet thinks the drug, intself, is causing her to be restless and whiny, more so than the pain...She (the vet) did ask me to call back, today, if cutting down the dose, and giving a couple of hrs. sooner didn't work...Right now, 5 hrs. after giving the .5 cc's @4 a.m., she seems to be doing better...It just may be that the meds are just too strong for her little system... |
