Default Arthritis pain management

For the last few years, I've been able to manage the arthritis Alexander has in his hind legs with baby aspirin and glucosamine supplements. Now that he's gotten older, and with colder weather coming, I'm afraid he needs more help.

I just started another thread on the warnings of Rimadyl. I'm so afraid to use this medicine. Does anyone use something other than Rimadyl to help with arthritis pain?

Any recommendations would be appreciated!
