I'm curious if chicken liver is a good or bad thing for Yorkies. Anyone know?
Chicken liver is high in cholesterol, beef liver is a better treat, and easy to make your own. Just boil liver for 20-30 minutes and cut into small ½ inch squares, and bake/dry in a low oven 200 degrees for about an hour until dry. You can freeze and keep a weeks worth in refrigerator. You can make a lot of treats for about $1.00, beef liver is cheap, but if you buy dehydrated liver, it's really expensive.
