Yes, it is amazing how many "Yorkie" experts are out there. Abbie sounds adorable. I felt like I was in high school too, when the weirdo at the Yorkie Halloween party confronted me about my “large Yorkie.” What is the matter with this people? They lack class, and they are not knowledgeable in any way about Yorkies. I had a Yorkie breeder, who breeds the tiny Yorkies, tell me at the party how sweet Gus was. She didn’t care that he was a big boy. He was gentle with the tiny ones and didn’t bother them. There was a Yorkie and Brussels Griffin mix at the party and it was the wildest and cutest thing I have ever seen. I told the owner the dog was amazing. The owner loved to hear that. Next time, someone wants to know if your dog is a Yorkie, ask him or her why they want to know, or tell them it isn’t any of their concern. If they persist, tell them, “No, it’s a Shetland pony.” If you ask a stupid question, you will get a stupid answer.
