A couple of suggestions that are tried and true for my gang Flakes, I am sorry that little Max has decided to go on a fast. It is very very distressing to mommies when their little ones won't eat.
I have two tricks that work for me that I will offer....
1) Try giving Max a small amount of Nutri-Cal (a little dot about the size of an English Pea). In a few minutes his appitetite should kick in.
if that doesn't work you might try....
2) Bake a chicken breast (baking gives richer flavor than boiling. Defat any broth and smuch up both the breast and broth and make what I call Chicken Goo. Use a small amount of the Chicken Goo to coat his kibble and let it stand for about 5 minutes so that it will absorb prior to feeding.
If he continues to refuse to eat, it may be a wise idea to have some bloodwork done to eliminate any "hidden" health problems.
good luck..... |
