I live in Fort Myers. Due to the extended heat here, and various standing water, the mosquitoes are horrible this year. Make sure to tell your in laws not to let the dog drink from puddles (chemical spray for mosquitoes) or injest other dog's feces. Watch for mushrooms growing in the grass, my Scooter ate one a few months ago and had vomitting & the runs for a week, even with the meds given by the vet. Good luck to your folks.
