Help...my Yorkie is starving. The vet told me I had to not give him any solids for 36 hours. We have another 24 to go and Izzy is definitely feeling better and hungry. I'm scared he's not taking enough Pedialyte. He is just staring at me trying to figure out why I'm not feeding him. Scares me b/c I know he lost a lil weight from being sick. I'm afraid he'll just get worse?? But I am assuming the vet has a reason for giving him no solids for this long? I'm just frustrated...any advice or comfort would help. Just had to bury a friend on Sunday, after watching him suffer from cancer. So my baby being sick is adding more emotional stress...ugh...
