I have the canon rebel xti. Love it. Look around and learn about the DSLR cameras. Most of the time the lens is the most important part. I have had mine almost 2 years and am still learning! Here are a few of my shots...
There are some grapes, grape leave and the requisite rose!!
Lighting is also very important to the picture! Good luck. I had a wonderful woman showing me things in my pictures. These were some of her favorites.
