Smile My two cents

I work around 1400 residential persons and we have a high turnover rate. In fifteen years I have gotten the flu once. I get the flu shots every year and this has seemed to prevent future occurances. I guess you would say I am in the high risk catagory. I also took tamiflu and it reduced my flu symptoms a great deal. Nothing like feeling you have just been hit by a semi... They say if you have the real deal nasty flu you can recall the day and time you felt ill. This is true for me, I remember it like it was yesterday. I understand the concerns everyone has, as I have the same fears, for me I think the benefits outweigh the risks. I have taken the regular flu shot and waiting for the swine flu to be available in my area. I think this week. I missed out on the previous availability. (plus I am having surgery the end of Nov, and would prefer to have some immunity)

Heres to a flu-free season!
