You should really do an extensive research, and make sure you have a binding contract that will protect you, your puppies and your future family according to your state laws. A nicer breeder will care for the well being on their adoptive family as well as their pups. But you need to protect yourself against scammers, careless owners and oblivious people. Are there any laws in your state? Are there any shots, or de-worming protocols mandated? minimum age to send a puppy home? Can you put a clause to obligate them to return the puppy/dog to you if they can not or no longer want to care for it?
