Moose only peed once a day for three days after surgery, a big lake just like you were talking about. Don't worry at all about Cujo not pooping, it took Moose 6 days to poop after the surgery- this is totally normal! It hurts their legs to squat down to pee and poop so they are really hesitant to do it at first. Plus, the medications can make them constipated. Don't worry about making Cujo poop until at least 5 days ( I think other Yorkie Talker's will confirm this). If he still hasn't gone by then, you could give a little pumpkin or sweet potato to move things along. But you have nothing to worry about yet- completely normal!
