I would. You have to get them use to it now or you will have problems down the road. I use to just tip Peanuts with a regular toe nail clipper.. I would just tip the point. I would always play with his feet and paws and stick my finger in his pads, just so he is use to that. The whole thing with the black nails and trimming is scary if you dont know where the "quick" is also if you dont trim them the quick will grow long and it will be hard to trim them..
