Hi

If she go's on the rug and you dont catch her doing it then maybe scolding her after the fact wont work. That is what I have heard.Just clean it up and ignore it and only give the good attention and maybe a treat for going where you want her to go.

I am not sure why she is covering it up but I have heard of that before.
