My husband HATED our first dog Marley when we first got her( shes 5 lbs soaking wet lol ). He wanted a bigger dog. Well now we have another small dog Colt whos 5 lbs full grown and you wouldn't believe how protective he is of these two. I don't think any less of a man who has a small dog. Never did , never have, never will. He holds them like babies and talks to them like they are babies even (he's gonna kill me for telling you all that) And when he wakes up in the morning, do you think he rolls over to give me a kiss... NOPE he picks up one of our little ones and kisses and loves on them in morning.. Mostly Marley because " that's his girl " ... and to think he didnt want to get her in the first place
