My 9 yr old daughter is getting a yorkie for her birthday in a week and a half. She is 6 months old and has been kept in a bathroom all day long - until my aunt got it a couple of days ago. My daughter has been in love with yorkies and this will be the most exciting thing ever for her! Here is the only problem - they have the same name! My daughters name is Ellie and the puppy is Ellie May, but called Ellie. My aunt said that she knows her name really well. I don't want to confuse the puppy, but I would really prefer for them not to have the same name. I want to do what's best for the puppy so I'd appreciate any advice! Maybe I should just change my daugthers name - kidding :-) I'd love to hear your suggestions!
