First off would like to say hello to the forum! I am owner of two yorkie's who are the mummy and daddy of their first litter, born on sunday the 25th of october. Angel gave birth to 6 healthy puppies who are suckling well
Now on to the question. I know that it is normal for there to be discharge after the birth, but most people describe this as reddish/brown and only to worry if it is bright red or has a bad odour. Angel's discharge is none of these things. It appears to be a very dark green colour which does
not smell. She is eating/drinking fine and acting her usual self. Is this discharge something to be worried about?
I also have a question for when the puppies are older. How do I go about introducing mum and pups to my other dogs, or should i keep them away alltogether?
Thanks
Emma
