Being in Florida, me and my friends with dogs are having a hard time with ticks this year. We all use flea/tick prevention meds but they seem to latch on anyway. As soon as I removed the tick, I swabbed the area with rubbing alcohol. You can at least do that until you can take your baby to the vet. It takes a lot for ticks to die so if I were you, I'd wash the carrier in hot water or at least spray it with flea & tick spray. I hope this is the end of your tick problem. |
