Haha I actually have no idea! But here are some tips that help with our tick problem.
-When you take him out, stay away from bushes and really wooded areas, there are tons of ticks in there.
-When you come back inside, brush him all over, this will help you find ticks that he may have picked up while outside.
-Get in a habit of checking for little bumps when you are cuddling with him. You can feel them in their fur before they get to that huge, engorged size like you found.
