I have two 12 week old puppies. The boy is a little sweetheart and comes when I call him and cuddles with me, etc. He is very easy to get along with. The girl, on the other hand, is so full of energy that it's almost impossible to pick her up and when I do she is whipping her head around in circles as if waiting to be exorcised. She runs so fast that she is a blur, pees everywhere, etc. etc. etc.
I think that different puppies have different personalities and she will settle down eventually. The fact that you can get an 11 week old to go on a long walk is something that I couldn't do with either of mine - they still need another shot for one thing and putting a harness and leash on them makes them both crazy biting and flipping their bodies around.
I inherited a beautiful bureau that my great-grandfather made himself. Well, the puppies have chewed up one of the legs. Puppies chew, so giving them something to chew on is always a good idea - just make sure it's not too small or doesn't break off in pieces.
Just enjoy your puppy - all too soon those puppy days will be over. I think she sounds like a healthy, normal 11 week old puppy. If you keep working with her she'll eventually settle down. Good luck.
