We have "trick time" in the evenings where I will sit down for about 10 minutes with little pieces of treats and try to teach a new trick( Colt will go as long as I am giving treats lol ). She has this "deer in headlights" look when I ask her to shake, and I eventually end up grabbing her paw and saying shake a few times, praising her and then giving her a treat. I guess I will just give up. She is a prissy dog , thats for sure. |
Haha yeah thats pretty much it.

I would just continue what you are doing.. I wouldnt give up on her, maybe she will get more into it as you go. I wouldnt count her out just bc of her "yeah whatever attitude" I dont really think she cares but at least the more you try with her she will be more willing to sit there lol.

Keep up the good work! Training is hard work and takes time!! Some get it at the drop of a pen and some take a little longer
