The Hernie was inguinal. As far as the puppy jumping from the couch I don't think so , it is a pom and at 12 weeks he can't get that high. When i took him to the emerency vet the first thing she ask me was if I had purchased him as a show dog because if I did i needed to go back to the breeder and let them know about this hernia because it was congenital and ran in their bloodline and those dogs should no longer be breed.
