Scooter , is 1 1/2 yrs old and had free roam of the house with access to outdoors (doggy doors) for about 6 months, once he was fully housebroken. When I got the two new ones, Bandit & Peanut back in Sept. Scooter would poop in the livingroom every night while everyone was asleep. I don't know why he did it because as I stated, he had access to outdoors
. I started putting him in a small playpen with just his bed, at night next to my bed when we went to sleep. He never pooed in there. It took about 2-3 weeks and he stopped pooing in the house at night. The only thing is now, when we go to bed, he comes in and puts his paws up on the playpen so I'll put him in. I guess he likes sleeping in there now.
